Kienholz Makes First Team All-State after Junior Campaign

Junior Lincoln Kienholz finished on the second team All-State after his sophomore season and after being one of the youngest to be on the All-State team last year, the expectations surrounding him were to be a first team All-Stater this year. Kienholz accomplished the goal and is the only junior on the first team with all other seniors.

Kienholz averaged 19.9 points a game, tops on the team while grabbing 7.1 rebounds a game and dishing out 2.8 assists. Kienholz shot 46.6% from the field and 73% from the line. He is joined by Mitchell’s Caden Hinker, Roosevelt’s Marcus Phillips, Washington’s Mikele Kambalo, Watertown’s Drew Norberg and O’Gorman’s David Alpers. Head Coach of the Pierre Governors, Brianna Kusler says Kienholz was a key leader on and off the court for the Governors…

Kusler says Kienholz is a very gifted athlete…

Kusler says this whole group who will be back next year minus Matt Hanson has a lot of potential…
