The final awards of the winter season are being released as the girls All-State teams for Class AA, A and B have been awarded.
Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda of Sioux Falls Washington headlines the AA team as she is named the player of the year. Mwenentanda will be at Texas next season playing in the SEC. Currently the Longhorns are preparing for its Sweet 16 matchup against Ohio State.
Kennadi Buchholz of De Smet received player of the year honors from Class B. The senior is joined by fellow senior, Maleighya Estes of White River on the First Team All-State.
Bella Swedlund has achieved First team All-State in Class A once again for Winner. The Kansas commit averaged 22.4 points per game while also grabbing 8.1 rebounds a game. She and Rylee Rosenquist of Dakota Valley are the only two seniors on the first team All-State.
