The South Dakota State Jackrabbits will be at home for the third straight WNIT game of the tournament as they are down to the final 16 teams. Thursday night, the Jacks will host Drake at Frost Arena.
SDSU has won 17 of the last 18 games since losing its only regular season conference game and the case is continuing to be made for why the Jacks should have been an at-large bid out the Summit League. However, they look to continue its tournament run to the Elite Eight of the WNIT with a win over Missouri Valley’s Drake.
The Bulldogs are coming in with a road and home win; over Missouri in overtime in Columbia and knocking off Missouri Valley rival Northern Iowa at home on Tuesday. Drake is 20-13 on the season but have won eight of nine coming into tonight’s contest.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 at Frost Arena, the Jacks would play Saturday-Monday if they would win tonight. The date, opponent and location will be determined after all games conclude tonight.
