Nordstrom Signs with Dakota Wesleyan

The speedy back from Stanley County High School has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his football career heading to Mitchell to play at Dakota Wesleyan University.

Nordstrom has been a three year starter for the Buffaloes as a defensive back and worked his way into being a force on offense at both the receiver and tailback positions. The Buffaloes finished at 5-5 this past season but finished wining five of the last six regular season games. Head coach of the Stanley County Buffaloes, Max Foth says he’s very proud of Nordstrom…

Nordstrom was unable to finish the season with an injury but Foth says he will have a chance to get back out onto the field again with the Tigers.

Nordstrom does have the school record for the 100 meter dash and Foth says with the speed, they had to play him all over the field…

Dakota Wesleyan, an NAIA program part of the Great Plains Athletic Conference, finished at 4-7 in 2021.
