PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. Commissioners will consider approval of the agenda and declaring any conflicts of interest before holding three public hearings. The public hearings are on two rezoning matters and the transfer of a liquor license outside of a municipality. The Commission will consider a package off-sale liquor license, care of the poor settlement agreement, property tax abatement and bridge grant agreement. Final consideration will be given to two plats and Commissioners will consider vote center resolutions, personnel, a jail water heater, a warning siren contract and raffle request.
