Rapid City Man Arrested By Pierre Police For Assaulting Man At Apartment Complex

PIERRE — Pierre police arrested a man last weekend on multiple charges following his involvement in an altercation. Captain Bryan Walz says officers were called Saturday afternoon around 3:45 pm to an apartment in the 400 block of South Robert Street for a disturbance. The victim told investigators 27 year-old Forrest Ladeaux of Rapid City had come to his residence and assaulted him. During the assault, Ladeaux is accused to locking the victim out of the apartment. Officers later made contact with Ladeaux. As they spoke with Ladeaux, he gave a false name to try and hide is identity. Ledeuax was arrested and transported to the Hughes County Jail on multiple charges including False Impersonation, No Child Seat for a Child Under 5; Petty Theft, Robbery, Simple Assault, Driving with a Revoked License and for being a parole absconder.
