Prince, Duffy Awarded Big Dakota All-Conference

The Stanley County Buffaloes have received six players overall part of the Big Dakota All-Conference Teams as Lathan Prince and Cormac Duffy both receive All-Conference recognition.

Prince and Duffy were the two best scorers on the Stanley County Buffalo team that was known for their defense this year. But don’t let that fool you as the duo are gifted offensively. The two seniors averaged double figures a game with Prince at a team high 17.5 while Duffy had 11. Yet, what they did offensively was even better defensively. Duffy was the team leader in rebounds with 6.5 per game while Prince nabbed three per game. Prince nearly had two steals a game while Duffy also averaged nearly two blocks per game. The Buffaloes were able to make it to their first ever SoDak 16 appearance this season after beating Chamberlain in the qualifying game. Head Coach of the Stanley County Buffaloes, Max Foth says Prince has done so many things for the Buffs over his high school career…

Foth says Duffy did a lot on the defensive end for the Buffs this year…

Stran Scott was part of the honorable mention of the conference as he averaged 8.2 points a game and six rebounds a game. Foth says he was the anchor on both the offensive and defensive side…

The Stanley County girls basketball team received three honorable mentions on the year. Mattie Duffy, Cadence Hand and Taylee Stroup all were elected to the honorable mention BDC for the 2021-2022 season. The Lady Buffs went 3-19 this season but both Duffy and Hand will return for the next two years while Stroup finished her career with the Lady Buffs this season.
