PIERRE — The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for a new name to head the organization. Sara Rankin will be leaving the organization to return to the South Dakota Municipal League where she was employed before taking the Chamber position. Rankin says her time with the Chamber has been an incredible learning experience. She says it’s been a pleasure to work with and learn from the Chamber’s talented and driven team. The Board of Director’s for the Chamber will conduct the candidate selection process to replace Rankin. Rankin will remain on as interim C-E-O until a replacement is found. She took over as C-E-O from Jamie Seiner 11 months ago. At the Municipal League, Rankin will become Director of Research and Training. Before coming to the Chamber she previously served as the Municipal League’s Director of Marketing and Communiciatons.
