PIERRE — The Pierre School District Board of Education is meeting tonight at the District Administration building. The Board will recognize the Pierre state champion girls wrestling team before approving the agenda and consent calendar. Superintendent Kelly Glodt will give his comments followed by time for board and public comments and an update from the Riggs Student Senate. The Board will recognize the District Teacher of the Year and will give final reading to recommendations for a new social studies curriculum. The Board will go on to take action on the Consolidated Board of Equalization, donations and declaring District property as surplus. Board members will consider a waiver of two administrative rules, resignations, open enrollments and contract items along with an executive session to prepare for negotiations. The Pierre School District Board of Education meets tonight at 5:30 P-M.
