FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League building. The Council will consider approval of the agenda and declare any conflicts of interest before hearing reports from city officials. A proclamation will be made for declaring March Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Awareness month. The Council will consider approval of an electrical contractor’s license and a temporary liquor license request for the Longbranch for an event at the Stanley County Fairgrounds on March 18th and 19th. Council members will consider a personnel item, authorization to advertise for summer staff, making a change to an ordinance and setting a public hearing for that change and discussing the city’s application to the state water plan.
