After the loss to the Chamberlain Cubs on February 3, the Stanley County Buffaloes were ready to play them again. Tonight, they get the opportunity with a trip to the SoDak 16 on the line, but this time it’s in Ft. Pierre.
The Buffaloes took control of its win over Crow Creek on Tuesday shooting much better in the second half as Lathan Prince led the way with 27 points on the night. Chamberlain didn’t have any problems with Dupree on Tuesday winning 75-27 as both head into tonight feeling confident to win.
The two teams played a very competitive and fun basketball game the first time with the Cubs escaping at home with a 53-47 win. Stanley County held a lead into the final minutes of the game but it wasn’t meant to be on that night. The Buffaloes will look for the same shooting they had in the second half against Crow Creek to begin the game tonight.
Tipoff at Parkview is scheduled for 6:30. The winner will earn a trip to the SoDak 16 on Tuesday with a place and time to be determined.
