The Oahe Lady Capitals will travel today up to Aberdeen as they look to begin the state tournament and face the host team the Aberdeen Cougars in the first round of the 2022 Girls Varsity State Tournament.
The Capitals went 0-2 in the regular season against the Cougars but played the Cougars tough at home to end the season falling just 2-1. The Capitals, the six seed, will be looking for a big upset to begin the tournament as Sioux Falls, Mitchell and Aberdeen seem to be poised to be one of the three teams to take the championship in the state tournament.
