Tonight the Stanley County Buffaloes begin its quest for the SoDak 16 as they welcome in Crow Creek in the 2 vs. 7 contest in the 6A playoffs.

The two teams met back on January 27 in Stephan and it was the Buffaloes picking up a 51-44 win over the Chieftains. After the loss, Crow Creek won three of its next four, but then finished with five losses in its last six games. While Crow Creek is scoring 52 points per game which is higher than Stanley County’s, the Chieftains are giving up 65 points a game, second most in 6A and 18 more points than the Buffalo defense is allowing. Stanley County gets to be the host team tonight and with a win will host on Friday and what will likely be a rematch with the Chamberlain Cubs.
