The Sully Buttes Chargers will face the North Central Thunder to kick off its region tournament play after the Thunder won on the road over Ipswich 31-20 on Wednesday.
The Chargers are the top seed in Region 2B and want to stake their claim as the top seed and earn a spot in the SoDak 16. Sully Buttes will face a North Central team who they haven’t played since the second game of the season but won handily 63-20. North Central is now 6-15 with the win and after winning on the road in Ipswich last night will look again to be road warriors and stun the Chargers.
The Chargers and Thunder have tipoff scheduled for 7:00 tonight in Onida. Due to ongoing maintenance, DT Meyer, the voice of the Sully Buttes Chargers will have the call on Capital City Rock, capitalcityrock.com and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports with coverage starting around 6:45.
