Hughes County Commission Moves Monday Meeting Due To Holiday

PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is moving their final meeting of the month to this evening from last night because of the President’s Day holiday. The Commission will consider approval of the agenda and declare any conflicts of interest before moving into agenda items. Commissioners will consider adding property to the tax rolls, a salary schedule, donated sick leave and county bridge inspections. The Commission will consider declaring Highway Department property as surplus, a raffle request and hold a discussion on the hours of operation for the courthouse. Other agenda items include blinds for the State’s Attorney’s office, the annual care of the poor report, the claims and reports.
