Lyman Uses Strong Fourth Quarter to Down Stanley County

Tied at 40 heading into the fourth quarter, the Lyman Raiders outscored the Stanley County Buffaloes 25-17 to defeat the Buffs 65-57 Monday night at Parkview Auditorium.

Both Toby Estes and Isaac Thomas scored 17 for Lyman while Lathan Prince for Stanley County had 17 to lead the way for both teams. Sam McClanahan had 16 while Colton Collins had 10 as four of the five starters finished in double digits. Cormac Duffy had 14 and Stran Scott had 11 as three of Stanley County’s starters were in double figures. Scott finished with nine rebounds, one away from a double-double on the evening. The difference was the three point line where the Raiders sank 11 threes in the game while Stanley County made five of 17 from long range. Stanley County Falls to 13-6 while Lyman improves to 14-5.
