Using better passing and better rebounding, the Sully Buttes Charger boys downed Waverly/South Shore 48-31 Saturday afternoon at the Warner Classic.
The Chargers had much better success rebounding, and held the Coyotes to numerous one shot and out attempts during the game. Sully Buttes started strong, leading 16-8 after one quarter, and 26-18 at the half. In the second half the Chargers outscored Waverly/South Shore 22-13 to notch their eighth win of the season.
Leading the way in scoring for the Chargers were Marshall Wittler, Landon Hepker and Dwight Kinney—all scoring 12 points. For the Coyotes, Landon Maag finished with 15 points, as the team record falls to 3-14.
