Stanley County Falls at Home to Mobridge-Pollock to End Season

The Stanley County Buffaloes finished the regular season on Thursday with a loss to the Mobridge-Pollock Lady Tigers, 64-45 as the Lady Buffs finish at 3-17.

The Lady Buffs will wait for the final games to be played to see where they will travel on Tuesday for the first round of the Region Tournament. Mobridge-Pollock had Emma Olson and Emma Keller both with 13 points to lead the way for the Lady Tigers as they improve to 13-5 on the season. The Lady Tigers built a nine point lead at the break 35-24 but pulled away in the second half. Mattie Duffy led the way for the Lady Buffs with nine points while Jordyn Sosa added eight and Kori Gabriel off the bench scored eight as well. Overall the Lady Buffs had eight different players score on the night.

As it stands right now, Stanley County will have to travel to Mobridge in the two-seven matchup, but the final seedings will be determined by the end of the week. The region tournament begins on Tuesday.
