The Pierre Governors never trailed and would rout the Brookings Bobcats 66-48 on Tuesday inside Riggs High School to improve to 7-10 on the season.

The Governors forced seven first quarter turnovers and scored 20 points to hold a nine point lead at the end of the first quarter.Ryann Barry had a team high 15 points but started the game with 11 to pace the Governors. Remi Price and Layni Stevens each had 11 for the Governors. Pierre would force 19 turnovers in total in the win in Pierre’s most dominating game of the season. The Govs have won four of its last five. Brookings was led by Landree Wilson with a game high 17 and Ainsley Shelsta had 16. Brookings falls to 5-11 and its three game win streak was snapped.
