PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal building. Another light agenda is greeting the Commission this evening. Commissioners will consider a five-item consent calendar; which includes the minutes from the February 8th meeting, the claims and seasonal new hires in the Parks and Golf Departments. Five items await consideration by the Commission. Commissioners will consider a change order for a water main extension project and a request to surplus and sell two dump trucks. The Commission will also consider three requests to bid. They include a golf cart lease, chip and fog seal oil for 2022 and aggregate base course for 2022. Commissioners will also present any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
The Hughes County Commission is meeting in special session tomorrow. They will meet at 5:30 in executive session to consult with legal counsel.
