PIERRE — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the District Administration building. The Board will consider approval of the agenda and a nine-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Any Board and public comments will follow before the Board hears first reading of a recommendation for a new social studies curriculum. Final reading will also be given to four updates of job descriptions for positions in the District. Board members will also discuss any intent to participate in high school girls’ softball with the state Activities Association along with considering approval of the legal calendar for the next school year and bids for the Jefferson Elementary School roofing project. The Board will also consider approval of donations, resignations and retirements and contract items. An executive session is scheduled for evaluation and negotiation with Superintendent Glodt. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
