Pierre Wrestling Wins Harrisburg Tournament

The Pierre Governors on Saturday would win the team title in Harrisburg defeating Spencer, Iowa and Canton. The Govs scored a 160 while Spencer had a 144 and Canton a 143.

Gianna Stangeland and Ireland Templeton each won their weight classes at 132 and 154. Sydney Uhrig in the 106, Abbigail Lewis in the 142 and Ciara McFarling in the 285 each placed second on the day, reaching the championship matches.

You can see a full list of the results below. The Governor girls will not wrestle now until the state tournament which will be on Feb. 24-26 in Sioux Falls.
