Friday and Saturday the State gymnastics will take place in Mitchell for Class AA and A as the Pierre Governors and Stanley County Buffaloes will each have individuals competing in their respective classes on Saturday.
Pierre
The Governors are sending six athletes to compete individually on Saturday. Nevaeh Karber was one step away from competing for the All-Around state championship, but will not be competing in the vault. Natalie Flottmeyer, Kristen Korber, Emelia Loe and senior Emerie Stephens will all be competing in the vault category while Ryen Sheppick will compete in the bars. Flottmeyer will also compete in the beam and Loe will be competing in the floor category.

Stanley County
Stanley County will be sending three athletes to Mitchell for the Class A individual competition. Elena Hebb will compete in three of the four categories as she will be featured in the vault, beam and floor categories. Rachel Nemec will also compete in the beam and floor categories, Summar Peterson will compete in the bars only and Alleyah Schilling in the floor category on Saturday.

The Class A team competition begins today at 9:00 with the Class AA teams beginning at 3:30. Class A individuals will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday and 3:30 for Class AA.
