The Pierre Governor girls wrestling team is in the home stretch of the season and after this weekend will wait for the State Tournament. Saturday, the Governors will be in Harrisburg for the last tournament of the year.
Pierre will be one of 25 teams in Harrisburg on Saturday competing in the final tournament of the year as they’ll also potentially face some Iowa and Nebraska competition.
The tournament begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday. There will not be any region tournaments for the girls so they will next compete in the state tournament beginning Feb. 24.
