Stanley County Boys Travel to Face Powerhouse White River

The Stanley County Buffaloes have a second tough task this week on Thursday as they travel down to White River to face a solid Tiger squad who come in at 11-2.

The Buffaloes have dropped two straight with losses to Chamberlain and Potter County over the last week, but still hold onto the number two spot in Region 6A. The Cubs, at number three, is the team the Buffs would like to keep below them in the standings as the road looks like the two will meet up again and Stanly County would like to have the home court advantage.

The Tigers two losses so far on the season are to DeSmet and Lower Brule as they have a combined record of 29-2. White River’s Joe Saylor is one to watch. The 6’3 junior can do it all for the Tigers who have won four in a row.

Tipoff is scheduled for around 8:00 tonight in White River.
