PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. The Commission will consider property tax abatements and adding property to county tax rolls along with investments and the enforcement of weight limits. Commissioners will consider bids for mag water and culverts and hear two planning and zoning items. Those items include the planning and zoning annual reports and a restrictive covenant for lots in Dakota Landing Estates. The Commission will consider personnel items, tower lease contracts, a wildland fire designee, reports and the claims. Executive sessions are planned for personnel and care of the poor and HIPPA.
