The Pierre Governors would outscore the Yankton Gazelles by 19 points in the second half to cruise to a 57-27 win in Yankton on Thursday night for its second straight win.
Pierre never trailed in the ballgame on Thursday as they led 13-3 at the end of the first quarter and took a 23-12 lead at the end of the first half. Reese Terwilliger led all scorers with 15 but was just one of three Governors in double figures on the night. Ayvrie Kaiser had 14 and Lennix Dupris had 11 for Pierre. Pierre is now at 5-9 on the season. Jordynn Salvatori had a game high seven for the Gazelles who drop to 4-9 on the year.
