Manning Breaks Own State and World Record

In 2020, Kyle Manning caught a Chinook Salmon weighing 16.52 pounds setting a South Dakota Bowfishing Association of America state record while also topping the World Record. On October 14, 2021, Manning set a new record by nearly a pound.

At Lake Oahe Manning caught his new Chinook Salmon weighing 17.44 pounds, 0.92 pounds heavier than last year’s. The salmon was also 36 inches long. A picture of Manning with the Salmon is courtesy of his Facebook page.
