The Pierre Governors were within three of O’Gorman in the second half but the Lady Knights would pick up its tenth straight win on Friday in Pierre with a 75-54 victory.
Hannah Ronsiek had six threes in the game for OG as she scored a game high 24 points. Mahli Abdouch had 22. O’Gorman went on a 12-0 run late in the first quarter and after leading 16-6 after the first quarter, the Governors trimmed it to 33-27 at the end of the first half. Pierre made it 33-30 early in the third but the Governors couldn’t keep up with the long range shots of the OG. Four Governors finished in double figures as Reese Terwilliger had the team high 14 points on the night while Ayvrie Kaiser, Remi Price and Ryann Barry each had 10.
