The Pierre wrestling team, after a long weekend with two road duals and four duals on Saturday as part of the East/West Duals in Pierre, will now host Yankton tonight in another ESD dual.
Yankton is at 3-11 in boys duals and are struggling in their losses. The Bucks are averaging around just 24 points in duals while averaging giving up nearly 60 points. The Governors come in with just two dual losses, at 6-2 on the season with losses to Brandon Valley and Rapid City Stevens. As the Govs and most teams are dealing with injuries, Pierre will look to get healthy as they prepare for another tournament on Saturday in Brookings.
Pierre and Yankton’s dual is scheduled to begin at 7:00 at Riggs Highs school.
