The Stanley County Buffaloes fell in the girls contest but the boys picked up a big win on Saturday as Herreid/Selby Area won 47-18 and the Buffs won 49-34.
The Lady Buffs were led by Jordyn Sosa in the loss with eight points while Mattie Duffy added six. The Lady Buffs were unable to score double digits in any of the four quarters and were held to just a single point in the fourth. Kendall Sawinksy had a game high 24 in the win for the Wolverines.
In the boys contest, Lathan Prince and Cromac Duffy had 17 and 15 respectively to lead the way for the Buffs. Stanley County improves to 8-2 with the win and have won three straight after falling to Lyman.
