Both the Pierre Governors and Douglas Patriots had an extended break between their last game and tonight’s contest in Pierre and the Govs look to stop its four game losing streak and the Patriots are looking for its first win.
The Governors last played last Thursday with a tough loss to the Mitchell Kernels but after a long weekend and having Tuesday off, the Governors look to be refreshed and ready for back-to-back games at home starting with Douglas. Even after the four game skid, the Govs are still just in ninth place in the AA standings.
Douglas sits at 0-6 so far on the season and are at the bottom of the AA standings. The Patriots are the only winless team in AA and Pierre wants it to stay that way after tonight. Douglas is scoring under 40 points a game while giving up over 60 a game.
