PIERRE — The South Dakota legislature is taking a second swing at trying to improve a western South Dakota research station damaged by a severe wind storm. Senate Bill 84 would appropriate six million dollars to the Board of Regents to design, renovate and build a multi-purpose facility at the Cottonwood Field Station. On a vote of five to zero, the bill was approved to be referred to the Joint Committee on Appropriations with a favorable recommendation.
