Fort Pierre To Hold Tuesday Meeting Due To King Holiday

FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight on a Tuesday due to the Martin Luther King holiday Monday. The Council will consider approval of the agenda and declare any conflicts of interest before hearing reports from city officials. A public hearing will be held for a temporary liquor license request for events at the Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center through February 7th. Following the public hearing, approval of those requests will be considered. Board members will get an update on the Missouri River Bridge project and will consider approval of a temporary liquor license at the Community Youth Involved center for the Silver Spur on February 12. The Board will consider a tractor rental for the mowing season, a resolution on records destruction and authorizing an engineering firm for a water facility plan. Also on the agenda is an amendment on an S-I-B loan agreement and a memorandum of understanding with P-P-7, L-L-C. The Fort Pierre City Council meets at 6:30 PM.
