PIERRE — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the District Administration Building. The Board will consider approval of the consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Board and public comments will follow along an update from the Riggs Student Senate. The Board will hear about the Teammates Program and will consider first reading of a job description for Head Elementary Servers. Board members will consider action on a classified hiring schedule, a date for a school board election and a joint election agreement with the City of Pierre and Hughes County. The Board will consider approval of the audit report for the last fiscal year, guideline changes for the Rawlins Scholarships and administrator contracts. Other action items for the Pierre School Board include donations, resignations and retirements and contract items. The Board will also meet at 4:30 with the District 24 legislative delegation. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
