Stanley County Faces Highmore-Harrold on the Road

The Stanley County Buffaloes and Highmore-Harrold Pirates are set to battle in a doubleheader as each team begins playing in 2022 as the Pirates will host the Buffs.

The Highmore-Harrold girls team come into the day’s game with a 3-2 record with wins over Wessington Springs in its last contest as well as knocking off Potter County and James Valley Christian. The senior heavy squad is looking to make a strong run in 2022. The Lady Buffs are at 1-4 to begin the season with its lone win against Phillip. Last time out, the Lady Buffs dropped a 30 point contest to Jones County.

The Buffalo boys are 3-1 and have won three straight heading into 2022. The Buffs have at least a 10 point win in all three of its victories. The Pirates are coming in at 1-2 and have dropped its last two contests to Wessington Springs and Wolsey-Wessington. Both Stanley County and Highmore-Harrold have wins over Jones County. Head Coach of the Buffaloes, Max Foth, says it’s a good start but it was a tough first four games…
