This afternoon, the Sully Buttes Chargers will travel to Parkston for the annual Parkston Classic as the girls will face Menno and the boys will take on the host Trojans.
The Sully Buttes girls have opened up the season with an impressive 4-1 record with its only loss in the latest contest to Aberdeen Roncalli last week Monday. The Chargers have rolled over its opponents in three of the four wins with at least a 20 point win. They’ll look to do the same against the 1-3 Menno Wolves who dropped its last three contests, including a 60-16 loss to Wagner last Tuesday.
The Sully Buttes boys are still in search of its first win after opening up the season with three formidable opponents in Lyman, Winner and Aberdeen Roncalli. It still doesn’t get any easier for the Chargers as they face the 4-0 Trojans who are averaging just a couple of ticks shy of 60 points per game. Head Coach of the Sully Buttes Chargers, Brian White says the practice on Monday, the first back after the moratorium was an important one…
White says Max Scott is one of the players to stop tonight…
And White says this would be a great win to knock off a team like Parkston…
Both Sully Buttes games will be on Country 95.3, pierrecountry.com and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports with the voice of the Sully Buttes Chargers DT Meyer on the call. The girls will play first at 3:30 and the boys game will follow.
