PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission gathers tonight for its final regular Monday night meeting of the year. A number of items of new business await Commissioners. The Commission will discuss an audit closing conference, Capital Area Counseling Mobile Crisis response agreement and a juvenile detention alternatives initiative. Commissioners will consider a bridge grant application along with bridge utility and right-of-way certificates. The Commission will consider a voluntary right-of-way donation agreement along with a community health nurse contract, personnel items and jail contracts. Also on the agenda are health insurance wellness incentives, a joint cooperative agreement with the Central South Dakota Enhancement District, renewal of an employee assistance program, declaring 2022 county holidays, the claims and reports.
