This weekend the girls and boys for Sully Buttes will be in action as the girls face Herreid/Selby Area in Selby on the road and the boys will host Winner on Saturday.
The Charger girls are 3-0 to open the season and will face the 1-0 Wolverines after they knocked off Timber Lake on Tuesday to 61-47 to open up the season. It’s a big early season 2B contest for both the Chargers and Wolverines.
The Sully Buttes Chargers will face the Winner Warriors on Saturday in Onida. The Chargers opened with a home loss to the Lyman Raiders on Tuesday and it doesn’t get any easier against Winner. The Warriors won its first two games over Wagner and Stanley County before defeating West Central on Thurday.
Coverage will begin around 7:00 on Friday in Selby and around 1:45 on Saturday in Onida as both games will be on Country 95.3, pierrecountry.com and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports with the voice of the Sully Buttes Chargers, DT Meyer on the call.
