The Stanley County Buffaloes each picked up its first win of the season on Thursday as the girls would defeat the Phillip Lady Scotties 54-46 and the boys a 61-43 winner.
Both Stanley County clubs shot well for its first win as the Lady Buffs improve to 1-3 on the year while the boys team improved to 1-1. Lathan Prince had 30 points, 20 in the second half to lead his team to victory over the now 0-2 Scotties.
The Buffs boys team will be on the road in Miller on Saturday while the girls will wait until next Tuesday when they play Jones County in Murdo in a doubleheader.
