Three days after finishing behind Harrisburg in the team score, the Pierre wrestling team will host the Tigers in an ESD dual, the first of the 2021-22 season.
The Governors and Tigers were third and fourth in team scores behind Rapid City Stevens and Watertown last weekend in the Rapid City invite. Pierre had three championship matches over the last weekend in its first official tournament of the year. Tonight, the Governors quest for an ESD title begins facing a tough and stout Harrisburg squad. Harrisburg has already wrestled four duals so far and are 3-1 including 2-1 in the ESD with its only loss to Watertown, 30-28. Head Coach of the Pierre Governors, Shawn Lewis says he likes how the team has progressed in the first two weeks of the year…

It will be a boys and girls dual against Harrisburg at Riggs High School tonight. Varsity matches begin at 7:00.
