PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting will start in special business with information on airline ticket booking before Commissioners move on to a six-item consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the December 7th meeting, a raffle request filed by PAWS Animal Rescue, the claims, two part-time hires and a new firefighter application. Commissioners will consider a request to purchase a paint sprayer for the Street Department and will consider two change orders. One is for the 2021 street paving project and the second is on the Airport Road project. Commissioners will also consider approval of a 2022 budget supplement for Airport Road STIP funds. Commissioners will close out the meeting with any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the community.
