The Pierre Governor girls were defeated in both games this weekend at home falling to both Rapid City Stevens and Central.
The Governor girls dropped the first game on Friday night to Stevens with a 61-50 loss. Pierre held with the Raiders but couldn’t find the tying stroke. Saturday, the Governors did not have any luck as they were outscored 10-2 in the first and were down by 24 at the break. The Central Cobblers rolled to a 74-33 win.
Pierre will face Sturgis and Spearfish this coming weekend. The game on Friday is scheduled for tip-off at 7:30 Mountain time in Sturgis.
