The Oahe Capitals have yet to see home ice this season, but have not tasted defeat in any of its first four games. Sunday, however, might be its most challenging of the five as they face the Rushmore Thunder in Rapid City.
Rushmore is 5-0 to begin the season as they’ve played the most games but also have scored rolled through its first five wins outscoring the opponents 56-7. The Thunder won both games last weekend over Sioux Falls 2, 4-3 in overtime and 6-1.
Meanwhile the Capitals won three games last weekend defeating Aberdeen in overtime, Watertown and Huron on Saturday and Sunday. The Caps have received plenty of scoring from its first line as Ashton Griese, Carter Sanderson and Jarron Beck have combined for 15 goals in four games. Head Coach Steve Steele says it’s a big game…
