PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. The Commission will approve minutes for three meetings and will hold public hearings on an approach variance and a moving permit. New business for the Commission includes considering a veterinarian contract, a jail medical proposal and jail mental health services contract. Commissioners will also consider a jail shift differential pay proposal and office supplies for the Sheriff’s Office. Personnel items are on the agenda along with an application to work in a county right-of-way, contingency transfers, the claims and reports from liaisons and the County Managers report.
