Fort Pierre City Council To Meet Tonight

FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League building. The Council will consider approval of the agenda and declare any conflicts of interest before hearing reports from city officials. The Council will give multiple ordinance readings tonight. The first is final reading of the city ward redistricting ordinance. First reading and introduction will be given to ordinances on the 2021 supplemental budget, 2022 utility budget and 2022 utility rates. The Council will consider approval of a professional services agreement for the animal clinic and a right-of-way closure request filed by the South Dakota Firefighters Association for an event on June 10th. Council members will also consider approval of a controlled burn permit, a Corps of Engineers easement, 2022 electric, plumbing and dray licenses and a change order and payment request, both by Morris Incorporated.
