Pierre’s wrestle-offs last Tuesday were the first time this season the athletes were able to compete in front of a crow and what a fantastic crowd it was to see the team gear up for the season. This weekend, the Governors kick off the year in Mandan for a two day tournament.
Both the girls and boys programs will be in Mandan, North Dakota on Friday and Saturday as they compete for the first time this year. While it is technically a preseason tournament, the competition will be some of the best Pierre will see all year with teams outside of South Dakota all meeting in Mandan for the weekend.
Competition begins at 3:30 on Friday and resumes at 9:00 AM Saturday morning,
