Saturday, Lee scored another two goals as Swenson added four points on two goals and two assists in another 6-2 rout of the Rushmore Thunder. Brylee Kafka and Alyssa Stahl both added their first goals of the season with Stewart-Fromm making 21 saves.

Sunday, Savannah Barber scored the final three goals for the Rangers, tying the game twice and netting the overtime winner to defeat the Lady Caps for the first time this season. Kafka had two goals as Lee added her seventh of the weekend and Swenson her fourth as the Caps came up  short in the 5-4 overtime loss.

The Lady Caps are 2-0-0-1. With five points in the first weekend they are just three points shy of last year’s point total.
