The Oahe Lady Capitals scored four second period goals in rout to its second win in as many games with a 6-2 victory over the Rushmore Thunder, Saturday night.
After scoring four goals in the first win, Ashton Lee followed up last night’s performance with another two goal night, her first being the only goal of the first period. Olivia Swenson assisted on the goal along with Micah Buffalo as Swenson finished with four points, two goals and two assists, the most of any player on the night. Brylee Kafka and Alyssa Stahl both scored as the Lady Caps have 13 goals in two games after having just 29 goals in all of 2020-2021. Abigail Stewart-Fromm made 21 saves on 23 chances for her second straight win, tying the win total she had last year.
