Pierre Swim Team Impressive in Black Hills Gold Invitational

Pierre Swim Team swam their way to the top at the 2021 SD Black Hills Gold Invitational last weekend. The next meet will be in Mitchell on December 3-5^th.

In the Girls 9-10 Division, had 1 swimmer:

Sophie Fuerst: 50 back-7^th, 50 breaststroke-12^th & 100 free-12^th

In the Girls 11-12 Division, had 3 swimmers:

Aurora Corrales: 50 breaststroke-2^nd, 100 breaststroke-2^nd, 50 free-4^th, 100 IM-4^th, 200 IM-4^th, 100 free-5^th, 50 back-7^th & 200 free-7th
Grace Murphy: 100 breaststroke-7^th & 50 breaststroke-8th
Ann Tjeerdsma: 100 back-1^st, 50 back-2^nd, 50 fly-2^nd, 200 free-2^nd(SDQ), 200 IM-2^nd(SDQ), 100 fly-3^rd, 100 free-3^rd & 50 free-5^th.

In the Girls 13-14 Division, had 1 swimmer:

Abigail Elberson: 200 back-6^th, 200 free-6^th, 200 breaststroke-8^th, 100 back-9^th, 100 breaststroke-9^th, 50 free-10^th & 100 free-11^th

In the Girls 17-18 Division, had 1 swimmer:

Ella Ward-Zeller: 1st place in the following events: 100 free, 200 free, 100 back, 200 back, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 200 IM and 400 IM. She also has all South Dakota State Qualifying times.

In the Boys 9-10 Division, had 3 swimmers:

Finley Ellwein: 1st & SDQ: 50 free/200 free/50 back/100 back/100 fly & 200 IM, 100 free-2^nd & SDQ
Matthew Maritz: 100 free-1^st (SDQ), 50 breaststroke-1^st (SDQ), 50 free-2^nd(SDQ), 100 back-2^nd (SDQ), 50 back-2nd (SDQ), 200 free-2nd
Joseph Murphy: 100 breaststroke-1^st, 100 back-3^rd, 50 breaststroke-4^th, 50 free-4^th (SDQ) & 100 free-5^th (SDQ)

In the Boys 13-14 Division, had 2 swimmers:

Colton Cass: 1500 free-2^nd (SDQ), 400 free-3^rd (SDQ), 200 free-3^rd (SDQ), 200 back-7^th (SDQ), & 100 back-9^th (SDQ)
Mason Ward-Zeller: 1^st & All State Qualifying times: 100 free/1500 free/100 back/200 back/100 breaststroke/200 breaststroke & 200 IM. Mason set the State Record in the 13-14 boys 200 breaststroke.
